Back to parents’ house(2019,2020)

Hi, I am free person!

I went back to my parents’ house for the first time in about 6 months and I felt indescribable, not anxious or anything, but there was so much of a gap between my life before the fall down…I was nervous for a couple of days.
I had just started living on my own and was excited every day, and the way I spent my time at home was completely different from before, and I couldn’t do the things I could have done on my own.
However, I soon got used to the current situation and stopped worrying about it.

At the same time as returning to my parents’ house, I made some modifications to make my wheelchair more comfortable and less dangerous, and bought a 6-wheeled wheelchair. (6-wheeled wheelchairs can turn in a small radius. Allows the user to maneuver around in tight spaces without problems, and it has a reclining function [Can be attached with optional] so the user’s hips don’t hurt when sitting in it for long periods of time)

I would also purchase something like a handle and put it in the bathroom and washroom. (To prevent my from falling over when moving around)
Outside, pour concrete in the yard for access from the living room, insert something like a pillar that can be grabbed by hand into it, and put a slove so that I can get out on own and get out of the yard easily. (I can also move around standing up if I am held by something)

※I didn’t upload it because anyone outside can see it except family members.

As soon as I returned to my parents’ house, I asked for home visit rehabilitation, and was told that due to a government rule, I could only do up to 3 days a week. (The rehabilitation I requested was PT, OT, PT, and from about 2021, all PT)
※There are 3 main types of rehabilitation.
・PT (Physical Therapy) : Therapy to recover and maintain general movements such as standing and walking.
・OT (Occupational Therapy) : Therapy to recover and maintain fine movements such as changing clothes, bathing, etc, using fingers and other body parts to do something.
・ST (Speech Therapy) : Therapy to restore and maintain throat movements such as listening, speaking, and swallowing.

After about 6 months, decided to purchase a Walking Assit Instrument and practice walking at home.
(My father watches behind me because might fall down if I am alone.)

Then, for confirmation, there was a visit once every 3 months at a large hospital near my parents’ house.
After that, there were no problems, and the period gradually extended from 3 months to 4 months to 5 months, and finally to 6 months and once every 6 months. (At the time of the visit, there was no examination or prescription of medicine in my case, just a medical examination.)

After another year or so, I was recovering steadily, and the visiting rehabilitation therapist told me about continuous employment support, and I decided to go to the facility to ask for more details. (I had heard about it from the nurse at the rehabilitation hospital and the doctor at the time of my visit, so I had some knowledge about it.)
※There are two types of support facilities… Type A and Type B.
After hearing the details from the facility staff and actually touring the facility, we decided to apply for admission, believing that we would be able to live here without any problems in our current condition and that there would be further improvements.

However, at this time, the corona epidemic broke out and they were unable to admit us.
